First procedure targeted the front hairline, second procedure (16 months later) targeted the crown and additional density. I couldn't be happier with the results, HMR definitely knows what they're doing and if you're hesitant about going to another country for a hair transplant, rest assured, they have all the basis covered so you feel safe and everyone you interact with speaks English.

Manoj Kondrakunta2024-04-19I researched off and on over 6 years, narrowed to about 15 places over across US, Turkey, Mexico, India. Turkey: Far, lots of advertising through social media, not a fan of the ratio of hair mills to legit places. I found one where the physician does the majority of the work in Ankara- but that one is very hard to get to. US: About $6-$10 per graft which is pricey but may be worth if it weren’t for the fact that the technicians do a majority of the work. Doesn’t make sense to do any 2-4x prices with limited surgeon work. Mexico: 3 spots that are world class. Nader + HMR + CDMX (I’m forgetting the name). Nader was unresponsive and finally found out that it’s 14 month wait list. HMR was super responsive and I went ahead and booked with them (4 month wait). CDMX- it was my 3rd choice and didn’t reach out since HMR was in play. India: Eugenix seems legit but the heroic 7-9K transplants offered gave me the impression that they are pushing the boundaries of what’s safe. HMR experience was super legit. Super responsive over email, offered transport + hotel complimentary. Transport was about 30 minutes late picking me up from the airport, but this was really the only hiccup. Hotel is nice, albeit, under construction- seemed like a lot of the guests were there for medical procedures. Actual surgery: scheduled for 7AM, started with a consult- I was able to show pictures of what I wanted and Dr Cortez was receptive and the hairline we settled on reflected my input. Actual surgery was a breeze and the team was great. I felt heard, taken care of, and care was taken. Would recommend 10/10, would do again. We shall see how it heals- will provide an update.
